Where did the time go?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHAN

Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday we were bringing home our second baby from the hospital. A little 7lb 15oz baby boy named Nathan. What a joy you have been Nathan.

Nathan is such a loving a giving spirit. It comes so naturally to him. He is always concerned about others needs and what he can do to make them happy. He never thinks of himself, just what he can give others or do for others to make them happy.

One day we were all sitting around the table eating some leftover of a dessert from Family Home Evening. There wasn't quite enough for eveyone to have some, so I gave it to the kids and to Robert. Nathan, without missing a beat, looks around the table, notices that I am not having any dessert and says....."Here Mom, you can have mine." I thanked him very much, but told him I really didn't want any tonight and he said "Really, it's okay, you can have mine."

I love this talent of his. He is so unselfish and loving towards all. I am truly grateful that Heavenly Father sent us such a wonderful family. We are blessed to have Nathan in our family and we are so happy to have spent the last 9 years watching him grow up.

Happy 9th Birthday Nathan. We all love you.

Our boy is growing up

Kyle has been asking for several months if he could please get a suit. He has been looking forward to this so much. I can't believe how happy is was to get a suit, but more so the Jacket. He just beamed from ear to ear yesterday when he was able to wear it to church. In fact Saturday evening at bedtime I overheard him tell Nathan that he couldn't wait to go to church. Boy how times have changed. He was so proud to wear his new suit and he looked great in it. I think you can see by the picture that he was feeling pretty good lookin'. We only had a few moments to get a picture. I'll have to try next sunday to get a picture with just Kyle. I'm so proud of him.
